New to Otravinscape? I decided to write this little guide for you =).

So you've created your account and are standing in Varrock wondering, what do I do first? Well I strongly suggest doing this:

1. Type ::ancients to switch to the ancients spellbook (you can use this to switch back as well)
2. Click "d" to teleport to the peaceful valley.
3. Use the nearby bank to bank everything except your cash
4. Trade "domminik"
5. Buy a chisel and 25 Sapphires (You MUST maintain at least one free space in your inventory or you will not be able to sell.)
6. Use the chisel on the Sapphires to obtain amulets of magic.
7. Sell the amulets of magic back to Domminik for a profit!

You can do keep doing this until 40 where you should switch to emeralds. Rubies at 60, diamonds at 70 and dragonstone at 75! You won't hit the real cash until 75, but you will make a few mil on the way. Even though, it only takes 10-15 minutes to get 75 so its totally worth it!

If you want to stay here, if you cut dragonstones you'll have 120M cash and 99 crafting in about 2-3 hours depending on how fast you can click.

TIP Don't use anything on Domminik, by accident or on purpose. This will make you loose connection which is really annoying!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ok if you got yourself some starting cash or decided to skip that part, you will probally want to start combat soon. While skilling is a lot of fun in Otravinscape, combat is how you will really make money and get some rarer items for yourself.

I suggest going to the stores in varrock to buy whatever gear you want.

Zaff's staff shop: Zaff sells a staff and robes if you want to train mage first.
Sword shop: south of the starting zone there's a store with all the scimitars you'll need up to 60 attack.
Armor shop: a little northeast of the starting zone there's an armoury with all the armors you'll need.
Bow shop: south of the armory is the ranging shop. Buy the starting gear you need here!

I suggest you buy all the gear you need up to level 40 right off the bat. You don't even need to bother buying steel, mithril, or adamant armor. Just buy rune right away. You'll level real fast.

Ok now that you have your gear, make sure your on the normal spellbook. if not, use ::ancients to switch. Click the "f" teleport to go to the combat dungeon!

Run passed the cows. they may be good starting training but you're going to go right for the rock crabs. Go to the farmers and go into the gates to the east. go straight through the gates and you'll be at the rock crabs!

These are the best exp for you. you get a massive 10k exp per kill. You'll be leveling up to 40 and 60 in no time. I strongly suggest you stay here until 60 attack, strength, and defence before moving on. You won't need any food here or anything.

The rock crabs drop Rune Plates, Dragon Mediums, Rune legs, Dragon dagger(s), crystal bows, and big bones.

1. Rune junk is nearly worthless. It can be sold to the armor shop in varrock for 14k per piece, but that's worthless. pick up a set for yourself and leave the rest.
2. Dragon mediums are also worthless. 15k a piece. leave them on the ground.
3. Dragon daggers: keep these for yourself or sell them to the sword shop about 175k per.
4. Crystal bows: KEEP THESE! they sell to the archery shop for 4.8M each!!!
5. Big bones: bury these for prayer exp! you'll need it!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Moving up!

When you get at least 60 attack, strength, and defence, I reccomend moving onto blue dragons for a little bit. They are level 111 and max around 15, but with a full set of rune you'll do fine.

Remember, you can use the ::food command to create 250 noted sharks!

You can kill these as long as you like for the drops. Rock crabs are probally better exp than these, but these drop dragon bones for much better prayer exp. (you really need 43+) The main drop you're going for here is an ancient staff and a pair of dragon platelegs. There also might be more helpful drops here that i'm unaware of. The dragons also drop guilded armor that you can keep or sell!
